EagleQuest Skijoring Tour
March 17-18

Join Anchorage Skijor Club for a weekend of skijoring on the Willow Trail Systems. There are miles of snowmachine and mushing trails groomed by the Willow Trail Committee in excellent condition at the moment.

EagleQuest Cabins & Lodge will accommodate us.  They are located near Deshka Landing in Willow. There are five rustic cabins available at the EagleQuest.  The cabins have three twin beds upstairs and a fold-out futon couch downstairs. There is a mini refrigerator and a microwave to store & prepare food.  Bathrooms, showers, meals, snacks & espresso are available.

The cabin rental rate is $35 per person per night with a three person minimum; five person maximum for $140.  A continental breakfast is included. The EagleQuest hosts are dog friendly; dogs can be tied up outside or kenneled inside the cabin/car.

Our last overnight tour to Eaglequest was very enjoyable for the skijorers and their dogs.

Directions:
Take the Parks Highway north to Willow Creek Parkway (just past the 70 mile marker) and take a left. Drive 2 miles and follow Deshka Landing sign to the left for 2.4 miles and turn right on Mishap Ave. Continue for 2.6 miles following the Deshka Landing signs. EagleQuest Cabins and Lodge are located on the left at the corner of Deshka Landing Road and Remote Lane.
