Run Rover's Run Canicross

The Run Rover's Run Canicross is the Anchorage Skijor Club's first event of the 2008-2009 season.  The race is a 5 kilometers on the P-38 Lightning trail, Old Rondy Trail and the Birch Knob Trail.  One dog only!!  Classes are Women, Men and Juniors, one dog.  Teams start at one-minute intervals.  Dogs must be on leash at all times.

Come to the Campbell Airstrip parking lot, mile 1.1 of the Campbell Airstrip Road.  Registration 11am to noon.  Race at 12:30.  Because of insurance requirements, participants must be members of the Anchorage Skijor Club.  Participants may purchase a $5 single-day membership or a season's membership during the race registration.
