AMH Kincaid Classic Skijor Race 2010
February 13, 2010
The weather was 28°F with clear skies. This was the last race of the skijor
season. The 10-K course followed the Mize and Sisson Loops. Skijorers in the
10-k race started at one-minute intervals. The 5-K race followed the Mize
Loop. This was a “Le Mans start” which is the highlight of the skijor racing
season. At the start, skiers and their dogs ran 100 feet before participants
put on their skis and poles.
